Here's a general idea of what's going on:
- The theme is "Invasion from Below."
- Heroes are minifig-scale and are in mechs made of HF pieces.
- All sets feature "four-legged bug minions."
- All of the mechs are humanoid- except for Evo's, whose mech is a four-legged turret.
- The mechs have large, translucent backpacks (except for Furno's) and have the Breakout Meteor Blasters (except for Stormer, who has an ice sword).
- The villains are still in the normal size, though, so don't worry.
- Speaking of villains...
- Flyer Beast is a primarily black and yellow character with a bit of trans-yellow mixed in.
- Jaw Beast is mainly purple with bits of medium azure sprinkled in.
- Splitter Beast is red and black and, from what the user said, appears to have two heads.
- The villain sets are a villain plus a minifig hero.
