Lego Hero Factory MOC: Alternate Universe Surge

In the Hero Factory "Rise Of The Rookies" DVD, Surge worries that he has a flaw and will someday become evil. Well, what if he actually DID have that flaw and WAS evil? Well, here's the answer.
The alternate universe Surge is basically Surge with a new, "evil" color scheme. His weapons still function normally, and so does his laser-proof armor, but the only thing that's changed is the circuitry near his "brain" which is altered slightly so he is working for evil.

The "anti-Surge" also is very antisocial, preferring not to work for anyone except himself.

Well, that's all for Anti-Surge! More MOCs to come!

Lego Hero Factory MOC: Steampunk

In the Hero Factory, many great weaponry feats have been achieved. Take Furno's magma blades, Stormer's multi-tool weapon, and the great MTIS. Who, do you wonder designed all that? The answer is one of Hero Factory's great weapon designers, Steampunk.
Steampunk is one of Hero Factory's leading weapon designers, specializing in projectile weapons most of the time, but sometimes resorting to making blades. He designed many great weapons, such as:
  • The Multi-Tool Ice Shield
  • Most of Maximus Team's weapons
  • Some of the Anti-Drone Junta's weapons
  • Furno's Magma Blades
  • Surge's rifle
  • Rocka's claw
  • Stringer's sonic boom gun
As you can tell, he is a weapon designing legend, and because of that, he's got to have his own weapons, right? His double barreled MTIS weapons shoot molten lava, and the MTIS shields also have precision cutting claws.

Well, that's Steampunk for ya! More MOCs to come!

Big news involving MOCs!

As you may know, the part of LEGO's DesignByMe service where you get to buy your creations ends today, January 16. But luckily, I've managed to buy a few characters from Mission: Drones! and other stories. But I will still be making the Mission: Drones characters with real parts after today. How, you ask? With Pick-A-Brick, of course! I bought two characters that have yet to be shown on Mission: Drones PLUS Mission Manager Martinus Zibelia! Pictures will be uploaded as soon as my shipment comes.

Also, the StoneHart MOCs team experimented with parts lately, and one of the results will be shown soon!

And finally, I have SCORED Breez and Thornraxx from an eBay seller from the UK. Reviews will be up soon! I still haven't uploaded Ultrabuild reviews and Breakout set reviews! But they'll be coming soon!

Lego Hero Factory MOCs: Some old 2.0-series MOCs

Here is my first MOC post of 2012: 3 new (well, really, they're old, as in 2011) MOCs! These are all LDD MOCs from the 2.0 era.

The first one is Novus 2.0.
As you can see, Novus has a wide color scheme of red, blue, and yellow. This is supposed to be like the many colors of a nova, hence his name: Novus.

The next hero is Chlorix 2.0.
Chlorix has a color scheme of lime green and white. If you like science, you will notice that the green in his color scheme (and his name) are a reference to the halogen element chlorine. And yes, his blasters do involve a chlorinated compound.

And finally, we have one of my favorite 2.0 heroes: Adhere 2.0.
We were trying to make a hero with an "oddsy" quality, and I definitely found something odd: SUCTION CUPS! He uses suction cups to climb walls and... stuff. Yeah, I don't have a real story for this guy.

Well, that's all for now!

What's coming in 2012!

Hello, Hero Factory fans, and Happy New Year! I'm sorry that this is a day late, I had to spend time with family yesterday for our annual New Year's celebration. But anyhoo,  I'm going to give a sneak peek as to what's coming in 2012!

  • More MOCs, of course!
  • A new storyline involving some Breakout MOCs
  • The storyline of Mission: Drones! will keep unfolding until it reaches the end of the story.
  • Hero Factory reviews on Breez, Furno, and Thornraxx. (I can't believe they're not out yet!)
  • Old MOCs that I haven't revealed yet will be... revealed LOL!
And much more!

The first MOCs will be uploaded today, but they aren't Breakout MOCs. In fact, they're the old MOCs I've told you about. I'll also be uploading a video trailer for the Breakout MOCs soon!
